The mission of Austin Medical Assistant Training (AMAT) is to educate highly qualified allied health candidates preparing them to become competent, compassionate and comprehensive health care workersto practice in a variety of medical fields. Our vision is to develop graduates to become leaders in the health care community, continuously striving for excellence in their professional endeavors.

AMAT vision is to meet the surrounding communities’ need for allied health workforce by providing quality Allied Health education to a diverse population through high standards, quality instructional services, a fostering environment, public and private alliances, and innovative leadership. We are looking into expanding our quality instructional services to communities that lack higher educational support.
