Computer Applications (MA101) 40 hours
This course introduces the essential concepts necessary to make effective use of the computer. Students achieve an understanding of what a computer can do, how it works, and how it can be used to create documents using word processing and spreadsheet applications for personal and business use.
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to do the following:
* Use library resources to research current events occurring in this field of study.
* Computer techniques and keyboarding skills
Graduates will know the different types of medical software and applications such as Microsoft word, excel and MR software Medisoft 19

Student performance will be evaluated relative to knowledge, skills, and professional behavior. Exams, quizzes, and projects will provide evidence of success in meeting the course objectives.
